WE LOVE LEARNING
IN THE BAHAMAS
Since the financial industry is a cornerstone of the economy in the The Bahamas, the federal government has launched The Bahamas’ e-Government Portal Services in an effort to make it easier for citizens to connect with the right government department and access the services that they need. The government continues to lead the shift to the digital economy by providing online access to a range of services.
As the government continues to shift to eServices, the nation’s infrastructure will be built out allowing many more homes to have their own high-speed Internet.
Popular industries like forestry and tourism are perfect candidates for the integration of online learning methods. Imagine, for example, using micro-learning on tablets in taxi cabs to provide information to tourists about attractions they can visit or how about using Augmented Reality codes on posters in buses to roll out a public health campaign?
WeLoveLearning is committed to working with the government and local businesses to support the shift to the digital economy, making information, knowledge and training more available to more persons, regardless of their rural or urban location.
