Frequently Asked Questions
How will you solve my problem?
Not every business problem can be solved by training – so that’s the first step. We will connect with you to do an analysis of your current situation and determine if and how a training approach will help to resolve it. If we determine that you really need a marketing strategy, for example, we’ll refer to you a different company for help. We won’t engage you in a training project unless we are certain our skills will help you with your business issue.
What makes you different from the thousands of other online training companies?
Most other online training companies provide courses and/or learning experiences on a particular set of topics. For example, they might provide Leadership or Safety training and thus offer a number of options related to that particular topic.
By contrast, the We Love Learning team is made up of Instructional Designers at our core. We’ve been in the training industry for decades and with the help of our digital artists, developers and videographers, we ONLY create custom-designed digital training solutions that are specifically made for your organization. Every organization has policies, procedures, products and services that other people need to be trained on – we take THAT content and turn it into really awesome digital learning solutions that can be deployed in any type of work environment, and across all types of devices.
What’s the difference between live online and self-directed training?
Converting a formerly in-person training session to a ‘live online’ one is the fastest and easiest way to transition to a digital learning solution. This kind of training is usually delivered using a tool like Zoom. But beware – you will save the travel time and costs, but you still need to schedule the training session and have a live facilitator which will be a recurring and on-going cost. If you are going to go that route, ask us how we can help by moving past the ‘Death by PowerPoint’ approach and instead incorporating polling, gamification, break-out rooms and other multi-media aspects. Your learners will thank you.
On the other hand, self-directed training can be accessed anywhere and at any time. It’s designed so that your employee or customer can access it exactly when they need it and from anywhere, as long as they have access to the internet and to a device. Self-directed learning experiences can be micro-learning experiences that are less than 5 minutes long. They can also be hour-long courses that are grouped into Certificate Programs. We can help you figure out what the exactly right solution is for your learners.
What is The Learning Academy?
The Learning Academy is our on-line platform. We know that creating your own LMS (Learning Management System) is a big and expensive under-taking so we created an LMS that all of our clients can share! But don’t worry – your employees or customers will ONLY see the courses that you want them to see. It’s a fully secure platform and super learner-friendly.
Alternatively, we can also build a custom LMS just for you. Contact us to learn more.
