eLearning Solutions: Where to Start?
A good place to start is to identify the gap between how your employees are performing now and how they need to be performing in the future. You might not need to design a whole new training program, it could be that your current programs could use a refresh.
There is no ‘perfect’ way to answer this question because what works for you might not work for the others. Training is all unique, it is designed to fit a specific need.
Instead, ask yourself the following THREE questions:
1. What are the goals that you want to achieve with this training initiative?
2. Who is the target audience (sales team, engineers, customers, etc)?
3. How will they consume the training?
That third question is important and often it gets neglected which could mean that the training does not get used. It is important to to know who you are developing the training for and that it suits their needs.
Here is an example:
If you are creating training for the sales team, they are often on the road going from one location to another. So it would make sense that any training designed for them, should be highly mobile friendly as they will most likely be using their Smartphones. On the other hand, if you are creating training for someone who is primarily in the office, then we have the whole screen to work with when designing the interactive training for them.
There are lots of fun and affordable ways to take an existing training program and move it into the digital age… if you already have the content, we can take it and kick it up a notch for today’s Modern Learner. And if you don’t, we will work with you to create a custom training program that works with your needs and budget.
Let’s work together. Get in touch and share a bit of information about your project.
