While some industries are shutting down, others carry on, and some are even booming. Are you in an organization that is scrambling to shift and deal with new approaches like working remotely or meeting virtually? And wondering how you will still provide your employees and customers with the performance support that they need? If yes, you will be interested in these FIVE practical solutions that my team and I have put in place to help you.
Five Ways We Can Help Your Business
One: The Learning Academy
On March 10th, we launched TheLearningAcademy to respond to the need for easy-to-access, quality online training that you can count on. There is no shortage of free online training out there, but you have to cut through the noise to find decent content. You already know that I have high standards, so you can feel confident that the training in TheLearningAcademy is rock solid. There are four courses on the platform now—you can get started right away. And in the coming weeks, we will be adding a suite of courses on mental health in the workplace as well as supervisory skills. I’ll let you know when they become available.
Two: 1-to-1 Coaching for Team Leaders
I know that teams are struggling to find new ways to stay connected and that, for leaders, there is a sharp learning curve. Burnouts, breakdowns, and fears are impacting team productivity. How do you even know if someone is struggling if you do not see them daily at this point? I have TWO experts ready to go and prepared to provide 1-to-1 coaching for Team Leaders as well as individual coaching to team members, as needed. Whether it supports the mental health of your team or helps to keep productivity high while working from home, a small investment of this kind will help to protect the health and productivity of your team over the longer term.
Three: Live Presentations by EXPERTS
Live events, conferences and training sessions of all kinds have been abruptly cancelled, but that doesn’t mean that your team needs to go without. I have assembled a team of experts, all certified by their respective national professional speaking associations. No matter what the topic, I have someone on our roster who can provide you with live online training and presentations using our platform or yours.
Four: Online Meeting Facilitation
Meetings have moved online. Even my Mum’s knitting group is meeting by Zoom now. AGMS, Board meetings, and working groups need to carry on. For some, meeting online is natural, but for others, it is a new experience. The larger the group, the harder it is to ensure that everyone in an online session can participate. The results of a poorly facilitated online meeting can be frustrating and time-sucking. If you are planning online meetings of 10 or more persons, I recommend you tap into the skills of a professional meeting facilitator. Again—I have you covered. We have our pro’s ready to go. They will even provide the platform when needed.
Five: Transform In-Person Courses to Online Courses
If you already have in-person training courses that you provide for your employees or customers, now is the time to make the transition to online learning. If you have existing course materials, then you are already partway there. And if you don’t have your content assembled, no problem —we will help you and your Subject Matter Experts gather it. I have taken this last week to build out my team of Instructional and Learning Experience Designers so that we have the extra capacity to help you make the transition as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
The working, learning, and meeting landscapes are changing rapidly, but my WeLoveLearning team and I are here and ready to help you with the transition.
